Dr Arellano is Director of Perth Infectious Diseases and has 13 years of consultant experience. She sees private patients in her rooms in Subiaco. She also consults on private inpatients at St John of God Subiaco Hospital.
 
Originally from Chile, she studied Medicine at the University of Adelaide and underwent advanced training in infectious diseases and microbiology in Perth. 
 
In addition to a busy private practice, Dr Arellano is an adjunct senior lecturer at Notre Dame University and a trainee supervisor of the Royal Australiasian College of Physicians.
